I checked out further the 67 Wagoneer I'm interested in yesterday. From the links I've seen, it does not appear to be a Jeep/Kaiser 327. The 327 has the dist vertically at the back of the intake manifold. This engine has the dist at the front, angled toward the driver's side. Also, the GM-style PS pump is on the driver's side, as well as the AC compressor, right up at the top. It has a 2 BBL carb, and the air cleaner sticker appears to say "350" or "360", plus "Dauntless" or something like that. The sticker is largely worn off. From this admittedly scant info, can some ID this? Is it a later engine dropped in?
