Thanks to everyone who gave advice and tips. I got the 219 in my 85 GW without incident. The weather cooperated yesterday and shot up to 41 degrees! Layed out a spare piece of astro-turf and some cardboard and away I went. I got the top nuts off without troubles and didn't have to drop the cross member holding the tranny up. I took it for a spin around the block and found 4H, N, and 4L. As long as I keep the hubs locked, I shouldn't blow this one up. Can anyone enlighten me as to where 4H and 4H lock are in relation to each other? All that being said, I have one spare broken 229, and the vacuum 4wd diaphragm if anyone is interested. The chain didn't break as I thought, but when I drained the oil, a LOT of metal came out with the ATF. Well, that and the hole in the case..... ------------------------------ End of fsj-digest V1 #2593 **************************
