Cheese and rice! I get the t-case swapped out, go out for a nice day of plowing, and check my gages. Sure the tank is on E, it's always on E, fella who had er before put a plastic tank in and didn't connect the sending unit (I hope). I notice the oil pressure is at 7! Revving gets me to 10. The thing had almost 40 a week before. AMC360, looks like I'm gonna end up swapping in a new pump now. I'll wait for warmer weather though. ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 05 Mar 2006 11:00:34 -0800 From: "Jim Blair" Subject: RE: fsj: First the transfer case now oil pressure!!! Try changing your oil filter! If it's an orange Fram one, there is a high likelihood it has collapsed inside and clogged the oil gallery. ~~build your truck right the first time!~~ _________________________________________________________________ Don^Rt just search. Mine is in the tranny shop again.... It was in the tranny shop the first week of January... It was in the tranny shop first week of December... It was in the tranny shop second week of October.... ...Rebuilt last May....and of course the warranty is about to expire due to time passage, rather than mileage....doesn't bode well.... and makes me afraid to take it wheelin'... G'luck with the pump. Think I'd try changing the spring kit out first just because it's so simple... It's been a while since I had a timing chain cover off... I don't know if you have to pull the t/c cover to break down the pump and rebuild or can you get to everything from underneath for a rebuild? Brett Lobajeski wrote: > Cheese and rice!
