Howdy all, In case anyone else is interested....got one of those seats and they're nice. Now I honestly haven't sat in a WK or WJ or whatever a GC Overland is but... these can't be that close in terms of seating comfort otherwise I'm not the slightest bit interested in D'Chrysler Jeeps. That being said; the chairs are quite nice as office chairs go. But I wouldn't want to ride 500-1000 miles in a day in it, that's for sure. I like the chair lots -don't get me wrong, but it ain't no barcolounger. lol I needed a new chair, wheels were falling off my old "office castoff" all the time recently, and the arms are all torn up, etc... I really needed a chair. So, it's leather, probably SHAPED like a GCO seat and it sits pretty comfortably. Doesn't recline. Does raise up and down. Well worth $150.00 imho. It's a nice office chair. john wrote: >are these out of a real ZJ or new? > >will they fit in the j10? if so better than GW seats? > >I'm still planning on using WJ seats in my J10, if it ever >sees daylight again... > >john > >On Fri, 24 Feb 2006, Jim Sterling wrote: > > > >>-->Hey guys, just an update. There is also info on line on how to convert a GM {- TBI to be used, although I have no idea where that is now. :) DO NOT USE THE HOLLEY!! To make a VERY long story short, I tried the Holley system ("Commander 950" or something?) and had all sorts of problems due to a defective system. I later found out that MANY others had exactly the same defects and problems. Ended up costing me a LOT of money and switched to something else. I don't have any experience with the Howell, but some people swear by it. My current system is one put together by a guy in Georgia, but I cannot recommend him because he has not returned my emails for the last year or so and therefore is apparently refusing to help with the tuning of the new system I got from him, which is a severe disappointment. I believe my ultimate solution will be to get the Edelbrock ported injection system. The downside is that system is US$2700. The good part is that I have confidence in Edelbrock -- I think they do good systems that just work right when you install them -- and it includes everything: the intake manifold, fuel rails and injectors, wiring harness, computer, manual tuning interface that doesn't require a laptop, distributor, everything. Ultimately, I think you get what you pay for (except with Holley, where you get _none_ of what you pay for), and I'm afraid messing around with the cheaper systems has been a mistake. Well, the better systems like the Edelbrock didn't exist when I started, so it wasn't an option for me. But if I were you, I'd consider just waiting until you can pay the extra and really do it right. - ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sure! ...
