Our brand new site (www.willysoverland.com), with a totally different look and feel, is now up and running. And, I'm happy to say, it now features what you've been requesting for years...an easy to navigate parts catalog. Along with this change, we have also reevaluated and adjusted our pricing structure. While parts pricing will be added to the catalog over the next few months, I think you will be pleased with the numbers you get from our parts specialists on the phone or by return e-mail to your inquiries. While the catalog is large, it is by no means complete, either because of our error or because we just haven't loaded everything yet. So, if you don't see the part you need, don't assume we don't have it...just ask. Also, if our pricing on any item appears to be out of line, please tell us and give us the opportunity to look into the reasons why. Let us either justify the higher price based on quality, completeness, warranty, etc., or fix the problem and become more competitive. Also on the site you will notice an increased focus on those used and often hard to find parts that we have been accumulating over the years. We may just be sitting on exactly what you've been searching for. Still, the only steel Jeep replacement body you can buy that is GUARANTEED to fit your frame, is the exclusive Willys-Overland "Repli-Tub". Check it out here: http://www.willysoverland.com/index.php/WO/replitub/ Finally, as to the "look" of the site, we hope you enjoy the old "Willys" and "Jeep" ads, old factory pictures as well as the pictures of some of the customers who have come to visit. If any of you collectors would like to share any pictures, please send them in and we will attempt to make them a part of the picture rotation on the site. What has not changed, of course, is our promise to get you the correct part, 100% guaranteed, in the shortest time possible. We promise to help with tech support when you need it. And we promise to make available the latest books, manuals, and tools to make your project as smooth as possible. If we fail in any of these promises, please contact me directly, either by e-mail or phone, and give me the opportunity to make it right. Thank you for your continued support. The NV249 I have from a '93 ZJ (with AW4) may not have that pilot hole, but I wouldn't want to run that tcase in my tow truck anyways. (too light for a 1+ ton) I can beef up the trans fairly easily (looking into modding the trans case to accept 727 internals and front pump) and probably will be able to convert it to fully hydraulic control (using the valve body from a '92 Mopar 4 speed auto) so I don't need a computer. It will be going into my '73 J4000 temporarily (Till I get a larger truck's frame to use as a flatbed and put my cab on it) and I'd like to use the Mopar NP208D I have for it (don't think it has the hole already for the pilot). Since I cruise the highway so much and will be doing even more with travelling to Index, WA and back several times weekly (haulling materials for our new place we hope to build this summer) I'd like to keep the higher cruising speed of the setup I have now. (TH400 with a QT with 16% O/D and 3.73 ratio with 33" tires) Anyone ever do this input swap with older NV/NP tcases? _________________________________________________________________ On the road to retirement? '83 J10 - 18mpg 166 gals biodiesel - FREE (if it can be put together by July 4th can make the trip using what WVO and BioDiesel I should have by then...) On board 40 gal tanks, two 55 gal drums in the bed should just about carry us the rest of the way... ;) plenty of room for more barrels. ;) of course the J10 is still in lots of little parts... but it the perennial hope of completion "this summer" is still there... I still have that '92 xj... and for a mere $1500 could drop in a mercedes 3.0L... but with grad school every other weekend I haven't even found time to fix the flat on the cj-2. ;) the '48 cj-2a would be fun to bring along if the J10 was ready... :) anyway, the question was: any s/w, online tools etc to plan a trip? looking at around 1,480 miles give or take one way... most of the trip out will be on I-90, heading back via I-94 to I-90 with a possible side trip up through Glacier... :) Have made this trip many times over the last 30 years... john ---- - ------------------------------------------------------------------------- ** http://JohnMeister.com **** http://wagoneers.com ** Snohomish, Washington USA - where Jeeps don't rust, they mold ** http://freegift.net *** http://greatcom.org/laws/languages.html ** - ------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------ End of fsj-digest V1 #2608 **************************
