John That shouldn't be a problem, as long as long as the sending SMTP server doesn't try to resend at a time when you're not listening. You might lose some e-mails in the 1am - 6am period because a very common default resend attempt is at 4 hours. You might want to consider the following for your e-mail server. I know you're a Linux type but for your e-mail server you should look into OpenBSD and the integrated SPAM filter/tarpit system spamd. http://www.openbsd.org/spamd/ and various writeups on the 'net http://www.pingwales.co.uk/2005/06/10/Filtering-Spam-with-OpenBSD.html http://www.elwood.net/greyspamd.html http://www.pantz.org/os/openbsd/spamdconfig.shtml a Google search for "openbsd spamd" will get you more reading than you probably need. diana ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 13 Jun 2006 08:10:46 -0700 From: "Jim Blair" Subject: RE: fsj: Re: [db] auxillary tank for Biodiesel/SV0/WVo Make it sit onto a roof rack then hoist it into the rafters of your "shop" after you fill it on the floor and back the Jeep under it. Gravity will take care of the emptying (sp?) or you can attach a fan pump that uses the wind going past to spin a pump.
