I had custom springs made for my '83 Cherokee and the fronts would NOT fit my J10 (so I sold them to Joe who had a Grand Wagoneer) I currently have custom rear springs (6" lift) for a Chev pickup and a 1" block to match the SOA front (Ford axle) with nearly flat, stock front leaves. "If we ever forget that we're one nation under God, then we will be a nation gone under." - - Ronald Reagan a little more info here... i went to a local spring shop (Louisville Auto Spring) and they copied a page out of their OEM spec book. says here that ALL from springs from '74-'77 as well as '77-'92 have the *same* dimensions. 2 1/2" spring width, 22 1/2" from short end eye to center bolt, and 24 1/2" from long end eye to center bolt! now, that is measured along the surface of the main leaf.
