Now all I need is one of those cool Aussie front bumpers for this thing. :) the '83 J10 stepside, aka, superdawg, looks to be getting the 360 from Omega, the '91 GW... I'm getting a 727 from Joe in Everett... might keep the NP208 in the dawg because of the 4.10 gears... that way I can roast tires... or maybe I'll use the NP219. :) Long term I may still look for another Diesel for the dawg, but at this point not having to rebuild an engine or transmission to get him up and running makes this driveline a winner. Not going to drive him daily so economy isn't an issue. the '91 300D may displace the '99 WJ if the '91 GW works out as expected... need to get a fuel tank heater to run SWVO in the Grand Wagoneer... :) well, back to stats homework... 2 more weeks!!!! john ---- - ------------------------------------------------------------------------- ** http://JohnMeister.com **** http://wagoneers.com ** Snohomish, Washington USA - where Jeeps don't rust, they mold ** http://freegift.net *** http://greatcom.org/laws/languages.html ** - ------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 9 Jul 2006 23:52:30 -0700 (PDT) From: john Subject: fsj: pictures - Jeeps and misc anyone up in the seattle/everett area in need of parts, this '83 4dr Cherokee is looking for a home... sign says $400, but the guy will take $150... an no, it won't follow me home. :) http://wagoneers.com/FSJ/rigs/on-the-side-of-the-road/ the inside of the Jeepster, and colors: http://wagoneers.com/JEEPS/68-Jeepster/jeepster-inside-1.jpg http://wagoneers.com/JEEPS/68-Jeepster/jeepster-door-jamp.jpg http://wagoneers.com/JEEPS/68-Jeepster/colorchart1-68-Jeepster.jpg http://wagoneers.com/JEEPS/68-Jeepster/COLORS/baby_blue.jpg note the last picture... the swallows nested on the tent: http://JohnMeister.com/fotos/2006/Jul-09-garden/ john ---- - ------------------------------------------------------------------------- ** http://JohnMeister.com **** http://wagoneers.com ** Snohomish, Washington USA - where Jeeps don't rust, they mold ** http://freegift.net *** http://greatcom.org/laws/languages.html ** - ------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 9 Jul 2006 23:52:30 -0700 (PDT) From: john Subject: fsj: pictures - Jeeps and misc anyone up in the seattle/everett area in need of parts, this '83 4dr Cherokee is looking for a home... sign says $400, but the guy will take $150... an no, it won't follow me home. :) http://wagoneers.com/FSJ/rigs/on-the-side-of-the-road/ the inside of the Jeepster, and colors: http://wagoneers.com/JEEPS/68-Jeepster/jeepster-inside-1.jpg http://wagoneers.com/JEEPS/68-Jeepster/jeepster-door-jamp.jpg http://wagoneers.com/JEEPS/68-Jeepster/colorchart1-68-Jeepster.jpg http://wagoneers.com/JEEPS/68-Jeepster/COLORS/baby_blue.jpg note the last picture... the swallows nested on the tent: http://JohnMeister.com/fotos/2006/Jul-09-garden/ john ---- - ------------------------------------------------------------------------- ** http://JohnMeister.com **** http://wagoneers.com ** Snohomish, Washington USA - where Jeeps don't rust, they mold ** http://freegift.net *** http://greatcom.org/laws/languages.html ** - ------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 10 Jul 2006 15:13:52 +0000 From: "michel balea" Subject: RE: fsj: GremliJeepster and other colors As a strange irony, on my April trip, counting FSJ sighting.... 1 running wagoneer and 1 running gremlin on a 3200 miles trip, 3 wagoneer/cherokee on blocks.... w for sale signs Michel 74 wag From: "Jim Blair" I wanted a Gremlin too, but couldn't manage to afford it with young kids. I believe the white J10 stepside was on ebay, apologies for using someone else's pictures, but it shows how Superdawg will look in white... also have some pix from ebay of another white GW... At this point I'm liking the idea of having three White Jeeps. The Willys may not be stock, but it looks great in white... the Grand Wagoneer is all original, so that's perfect... and putting the J10 stepside into white doesn't appear to be a problem either... The other thoughts on the J10 stepside are: - the same color as my '99 WJ - (very nice color) - wife still thinks "black cherry" or "root beer metallic" - but white seem acceptable to anyone that looks... BTW, I may have the Jeepster sold... talked to a guy this morning that is very interested in it... so we'll see... I swapped the tires from the Jeepster to the Willys... the ones on the Willys were too big... the ones on the Jeepster seemed a bit small for it... perfect swap... same rims. Will take pictures of the Willys with the new tires... very aggressive Big-O M/Ts... 235's... almost looks like a stock type tire. john ---- - ------------------------------------------------------------------------- ** http://JohnMeister.com **** http://wagoneers.com ** Snohomish, Washington USA - where Jeeps don't rust, they mold ** http://freegift.net *** http://greatcom.org/laws/languages.html ** - ------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------ End of fsj-digest V1 #2669 **************************
