The Motorcraft 2150 is "Holleyized" (and I don't mean that in a good way!) but the 2100 is simple and easy to work with. I have a rebuild kit I bought for my J4000's carb (thinking it was the OEM carb for the '77 AMX) that I can't use the powervalve and stuff from (I only used the base gasket and needle and seat) that will fit the 2150. (kit was listed at $85 mostly because of the dual stage powervalve I couldn't use) It's in my for sale stuff (of which I will be making a long list to post since I couldn't do the swapmeet this year) I have since bought a Ford 2100 carb rebuild kit (for '69 F250 with 390 2 bbl) and brass float with Holley offroad needle and seat kit (I'm pretty sure it will fit) that I will eventually put in. (compressed air bikes) Here's some wild stuff I haven't had time to delve into for a bit, but I was thinking about the automotive applications of something like this. Even used as a boost on takeoff, it would cut the amount of fuel being wasted. I forsee using an exhaust mounted turbo pump to fill tanks without affecting power a whole lot. Compressed air for bicycles...? Posted by: "Cycle Santa Monica" cyclesantamonica-at-yahoo.com cyclesantamonica Date: Wed Nov 15, 2006 2:23 am ((PST)) This guys compressed air engine, could be a boom for power-assist bicycles (see Part 2 of the two videos - technology from Australia) http://cyclesantamonica.blogspot.com/2006/11/air-power-latest.html That little compressed air motor could easily be mounted on a bicycle frame and strung up with a chain or belt to the rear wheel. Add a carbon fiber tank and you good to go for several hours on your bicycle. Add a bicycle trailer, with a couple more carbon fiber tanks, and who know, you could probably ride your bicycle, via compressed air power for more than 10 hours straight at 20-30 miles per hour or more.
