All in a row about 10 feet from my cabin's side door! (not quite sure if it's tall enough to call a cliff?) I'm just glad it's back roads all the way from work to home (7 miles) because it takes me less than an hour in bad traffic. When I was 5 miles further away (Kenmore) it took over 2 hours on some nice days to get to and from home! PS: Weatherman says chance of extreme snow by tonight! (J4000 stays home today if I can unlock the doors of the Comanche! It has 3 tires and a full tank of gas for weight now) I have the next 2 days off and will be spending it trying to get my garage cleared out so I can swap the auto into my Comanche! I've got more elevation change on my 1/2 acre here than the entire state of OK. ;) (not really sure about that, but probably close. ;) mix hills with snow and ice and inexperienced drivers and plan on spending 2 hrs to go three miles... NOT kidding. Seattle proper ranges in elevation from sea level to 600 feet.(?) Everett sits on the sound, Sea Level, and has places up to 700 feet. Within a three mile radius of my place it ranges from below sea level to 605 feet. from the top of the drive to my backyard I think there is a 60 foot elevation change... maybe it's 80, need to break out the GPS again. :) I can see the top of my 2 story house from the top of my yard... in the backyard I'm looking below the foundation standing up... It WAS a great Jeepin' yard till we got it all landscaped. ;) john _________________________________________________________________ MSN Shopping has everything on your holiday list.
