XJ diffs are -at-2" too wide (same with Eagle axles as they are the same as XJ) or we'd have that covered. The Spirit is essentially the same as AMC Concord and Hornet and the V8 cars generally came with Model 20 (round rear cover that looks like it's hiding a basketball) I used to have one from the '77 AMX I parted, but it went to the scrapyard when I moved. Some early Jeep Comanches came with the Model 20 as well as the Dana 44 (these would be acceptable possible options if complete) He's also looking for a 727 AMC or Jeep 2wd trans (possibly a really good 999 but his current one is causing running issues he is already tired of dealing with) or maybe a 4.0L/AW4 2wd combo. (this would be optimal as his 4.2L is eating spark plugs at the moment. It may have been a fluke due to the carb running poorly before) _________________________________________________________________ Get FREE company branded e-mail accounts and business Web site from Microsoft Office Live http://clk.atdmt.com/MRT/go/mcrssaub0050001411mrt/direct/01/ ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 4 Dec 2006 08:21:19 -0800 (PST) From: john Subject: Re: fsj: parts wanted near Seattle I have a 727 2wd from an AMC down in Centralia, Curtis opened it up and wasn't impressed, but it was working in a DJ. Brian is welcome to it, the only problem is getting up here from Centralia... my GW should be done 12/12. In the meantime I recommended Dave's Transmission in Lynnwood. john On Mon, 4 Dec 2006, Jim Blair wrote: > -->A friend of mine is looking for a Model 20 (or a REALLY cheap Model 15) to > -->fit his '82 AMC Spirit. While the road he was going to use may be on the map, it's not a main road... he should have cut over to the coast furhter north. The only other "main" route to the coast is south of Grants Pass, 199. http://my.netscape.com/corewidgets/news/story.psp?cat=51280&id=2006120509160001330957 john ---- - ------------------------------------------------------------------------- ** http://JohnMeister.com **** http://wagoneers.com ** Snohomish, Washington USA - where Jeeps don't rust, they mold ** http://freegift.net *** http://greatcom.org/laws/languages.html ** - ------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 05 Dec 2006 19:37:04 -0800 From: "Jim Blair" Subject: fsj: Ebay want it now FSJ stuff 77 FSJ seat covers and upholstery http://wantitnow.ebay.com/1977-Jeep-Cherokee-Wagoneer-Seat-Covers-Upholstry_W0QQadidZ140061582369 77 Cherokee owner's manual http://wantitnow.ebay.com/owners-manuel_W0QQadidZ220056905205 _________________________________________________________________ Get free, personalized commercial-free online radio with MSN Radio powered by Pandora http://radio.msn.com/?icid=T002MSN03A07001 ------------------------------ End of fsj-digest V1 #2747 **************************
