Book value is right at $5k, but on ebay the '91's, even rusty ones, have been going for $6,800 to 11,000. Of course Wagonmasters gets $18 to 32k for lower mileage pristine versions. So, what's a totally rust free, 163,400 mile, factory sunroof equipped, 10.46 mpg, professionaly tinted windows 1991 Grand Wagoneer worth that needs a wee bit of body work and some decent tires? :) Of course there are other cosmetic issues with it... oh, and when I put my remote starter on it... it starts right up. connected main terminal on the starter and the solenoid on the starter... is there another relay in the system? Or is it the alarm system that has failed? BTW, Ed, the '86 300E has a number of cosmetic issues... nothing serious, also has 220,000 miles... sunroof cable needs to be replaced, doesn't close all the way, idler pulley is bad, otherwise looked ok. If I sell the Grand Wagoneer, I'll be looking at getting one of those automatic fuel systems for the Waste Veggie Oil... john ----- - ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Snohomish, Washington -o|||||o- where Jeeps don't rust, they mold http://freegift.com ** http://wagoneers.com ** - ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 3 Mar 2007 20:20:08 -0800 (PST) From: john Subject: RE: fsj: turn key, nothing happens... I just need to get out there with a hose and sponge, wash this thing, retake my pictures, swap the steering wheel, fix the alarm issue, tune it up so it's running perfectly, do a couple other things until it feels as nice as it looks, then hit ebay or sell locally. I've got it on craigslist at 7K right now with all the pictures and folks are in touch. I don't feel like it's really at that value... but if I can spend a couple of days wrenching on it it I'll have it where it needs to be... thanx... appreciate the input... it should be worth at least $7,000 if only because it's totally rust free. john On Sun, 4 Mar 2007, Stephen Cahill wrote: > -->Hello John > -->IF,,,, that big word.. > -->With the pictures you have of it throw it on Ebay. set your reserve at > -->7000.00. > --> > -->IF it does not make the reserve.
