I may use JB weld to keep them in place, but they're not likely to work loose. Jim Blair found some much more suitable inserts, but they were slightly larger... thread count was very, very similar... matched... but they were just slightly larger... must have been metric. Jim, rather than a refund, let's just exchange those inserts for something of comparable value... your recommendation off the shelves. ;) no rush... really appreciate your thoughtfulness on gathering them up for me! turns out my wife's computer didn't die... the lcd monitor did... so now I have to go back down to fry's to return the stuff I bought to setup a work around system. john ----- - ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Snohomish, Washington -o|||||o- where Jeeps don't rust, they mold http://freegift.com ** http://wagoneers.com ** - ---------------------------------------------------------------------- On Mon, 24 Sep 2007, Tesar Landon-r16884 wrote: # It's a very strange thread. I could use plastic to make the J10 presentable, but I've got grad school classes every other weekend until Feb 2008. I have to focus... it's hard... :) plus, every sunday I'm teaching a class (see the soup can on my webserver)... Haven't heard from Jim Blair yet, but he could really use this truck and since he was so kind to help me work on my '89 GW this weekend he gets the first shot at this thing... Might even help him rattle can it in my driveway so his wife will not hurt him...
