Normal was 8 to 10 mpg. The GMC/Detroit Diesel at it's worst so far has been 16mpg, best so far about 18mpg... 4 tank average to date is about 17 mpg. 0 to 60 times for the 360 were around 13 seconds, with the 6.2, about 19 seconds... RE: I rarely achieved 10mpg, at its best 18, on the average for the last 8 years and 60,000 miles it is 14mpg, which includes all my driving from urban to freeway, for the 74 w the 2.67 gearing... 235/75 x15, carb is the calif. 2100 1.07 venturi my 85 project is 13 mpg for only 6,000 miles, and 3.31 gearing w 31/10.5x15 w the stock 2150..... and i switch to a 2100 (same on the 74, w the 1.07 or 1.08 venturi: 360 cfm i think) last week, too many blown power valves... they do not last more than 1 year.... or 1500 miles....
