(I'd like to have mini-movie option anyways) Going Bluetooth (since we are now handsfree by law here) I prefer a flip phone (saves the screen when I forget I have it in my pocket), but internet capable and I/R keyboard compatible would be best. I'd also like to get an earpiece with built in camera (buddy of mine who was in Iraq showed me the military version) as I tend to see some unbelieveable stuff on the highways and want proof. (I tried a hand held camera but it was too shaky and didn't show the semi going sideways across the highway because of the idiot that cut him off and locked his ebrake to initiate a "hit" to collect insurance) Saw a bear that was hit by a truck yesterday. I have yet to see a camera phone that can take a decent picture... your best bet is to buy a nice Digital camera... (For those, I'd probably just build a mount for a normal video camera... Much less limited for time, and better quality.) For the other... Well, maybe you'll catch him if it only activates when it sees motion, but I'd be more tempted to look into wiring up a webcam and recording the whole day. I'm tempted to do that myself, now and then, when people in the neighborhood leave their trash on my lawn or when local kids vandalize the mailboxes (opening them and leaving them open, or breaking off the red flag thingies). Usually I just try to remember that I should be happy that those are pretty much the worst things that happen in my neighborhood. I can accidentally leave my garage door open all day or all night, and nothing gets touched, even though there's plenty of good, fairly expensive equipment in there. Olympus lenses are going to cost less than the comparable "name brand" Canon /Nikons... I'm not familar with the film version of Olympus, but if they are anything like their digital units they bear consideration. got any really long telephoto lenses? I'm thinking of selling my FZ7 and FZ50 and getting the new FZ28 and then investing into a DSLR setup, leaning toward Nikon, Canon second and of course Olympus third. I have some nice FD lenses... canon has had several types and they are not interchangeable... FL, FD, EF and EOS with another one thrown in somewhere... don't know of an adapter either... the EF lenses came out in the mid-70s, the Canon EF and F1 could use them, I had an AE-1 and still have a FTb with three lenses, or is it two? Omega is a beautiful Jeep... many things I like about him... but it's funny, there are some FSJs that I've owned that immediately secured my affection... Omega never did that, so parting with him isn't that painful... SuperDawg is quite another story... That blue '89 I had was close... if the interior had been nicer on that one I would have kept it... the body was perfect... I'm going to get my carport rebuilt so I can bring SuperDawg back home... the next decision will be whether to go with a stock 4.2L drive train, a 4.7L V8 out of a WJ or go the 6.5L TD route... or just sell as a project and not continue the insanity... ;) (but then the popcorn industry would suffer... ;) of course it's been so long since I've driven the J10 I don't know if there will still be that "bond". ;) He was dismantled in 2001. Wife and I are struggling with the idea of parting with the '99 WJ... it is one of the finest Jeeps ever made... reliable, comfortable, and way more economical than a full size jeep... nicer quality than an XJ... but it runs on that stinking expensive gasoline... ;) BioDiesel/Diesel rules, gas drools...
