I just picked up another Eagle Wagon (1980) that needs a little fixing (rocker stud stripped out and pushrod keeps popping off) My '82 Spirit is just the updated version of that Gremlin. Main thing I need is a clean gas tank from a Grem or Spirit (late model AMX) so I can set up my EFI pump for the Spirit. I figure since I get almost 20 mpg with the infamous Carter Computerized version of the BBD (although this one keeps clogging up with rust from the tank, even with 3 inline filters and a magnet!), I should be able to get close to 25 MPG in the car with an AW4 (2wd from a Cherokee) and Jeep MPFI. The Eagle will be my winter traveler.
