Plus your torque is full-on right at or just above idle, so I don't think you'll need a granny gear. I have the wide-ratio T19 behind my 4BT and the jump from 1-2 and 2-3 is a pretty big jump, especially for towing. I'm really wishing I had a 5 or 6-speed manual for it. Even though I modded the pump and raised my red-line to 3200 RPMs it's still a pretty short powerband. The wide-ratio T19 in your CJ10 would be like having a three speed transmission with a stump pulling gear that you'll probably not use on a regular basis. I have 3.5 gears with 35's so I actually need my 1st gear in my wide-ratio. I'm surprised the SD33T only gets 6.5 psi of boost. It is pretty high compression, but I wonder if you couldn't get more boost. I'm pushing 30 PSI of boost in my 6bt, but only 8 PSI on the 4bt. I think my 4bt is having fuel delivery problems, because I should be getting 20-25 PSI.
