I shuttle them back and forth it seems... :) trying to get as many out of curtis' way as possible, but then bring more down... :) I am guardedly optimistic that superdawg will take shape in the next few days... and then I can get all of my parts back up here and start sorting them out... then I will start working on building up the Diesel drivetrain for it... I am going to do some research in mating a 617/602 or 603 to my T5 though, if that fails, then I'll continue with the SD33T and 727 setup. I will need a flywheel and clutch setup from a Benz, will need to fabricate an adapter and figure out how to make it all work... we'll see... the SD33T might be a better answer. ;) in other news, worked from home friday, have a bird's eye view of the bird bath: http://fotomeister.us/fotos/2009/07-Jul-24-birds-n-gardens/ALL.html john ----- - ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Snohomish, Washington -o|||||o- where Jeeps don't rust, they mold http://AMSOIL.com/redirect.cgi?zo=283461 http://creationwiki.org http://johnmeister.com http://wagoneers.com http://fotomeister.us - ------------------------------------------------------------------------ On Sat, 25 Jul 2009, Edward Pomeroy wrote: # Gosh John: # # I don't feel so bad now that I have seen your project ;-) my MG has been in # pieces in two separate buildings plus an attic over the garage # for about 10 years now. The SD33T is coming complete with all the cables, hoses, a/c compressor, ps pump and brackets and so on... but wait, there's more... he's got relatives up here and will deliver it AFTER my daughter's wedding in August... gives him more time to get it out of his Scout... I'll drive down to meet him part way... Looks like I will need that flex plate from SoCal and will need to get my TF727 together with the correct tail shaft, torque converter and housing for my NP208. :) (unless someone has some of those parts we can fedex ground or pick up somewhere in the PNW...) He also mentioned some of the Binder events as a way of selling off my T19/D300 and some of the other pieces I won't need... Looks like the Binder gatherings are a good place to get stuff for SD33/SD33Ts as well... Superdawg should be together here in a few weeks with the 4.2/T5/np208 and working a/c, which I really need right now... heat wave in Seattle and I'm fighting allergies big time... back on antibiotics and a whole pile of new allergy meds from the allergist... starting to feel a little better... since we're having a real summer I suspect we'll have a pretty serious winter, so having functional jeeps here will be very important... :) john ----- - ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Snohomish, Washington -o|||||o- where Jeeps don't rust, they mold http://AMSOIL.com/redirect.cgi?zo=283461 http://creationwiki.org http://johnmeister.com http://wagoneers.com http://fotomeister.us - ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------ End of fsj-digest V1 #3387 **************************
