I almost took a pict of my outfit for working on the Jeep in San Fran, it was 53 and I had to put on my old ski outfit: fleece, capilene underwear, ski cap and overall... and it was barely warm. At least you do not breath the solvents. I broke one the stud -rusted- for the EGR valve (probably semi-open most of the time which is one of the reason of my idle vibration), and had to devise an emergency repair. Now the engine is barely noticeable, a bit like driving a prius. cheers and good luck to John for fighting his allergies. For on July 29, 2009, Sea-Tac Airport hit 103 degrees just after 3:30 p.m. for the hottest day on record in Seattle, with records stretching back to 1891. The previous records were 100 degrees set July 20, 1994, July 16, 1941, and June 9, 1955*. http://www.komonews.com/news/51988007.html Around 3pm it was 102F in Snohomish... but it's ok... (yeah right) it's a dry heat... :) what's funny is I was looking at the temps elsewhere in the country... amazing... our normal summer temps are usually in the low '70s... We also set a record for the HIGHEST low temp ever... 71 deg F... in all recorded history here our highest low temp has never been over 70 deg F... it always cools off at night here... Humidity is around 20% too... a friend came up from San Diego, he got off the plane and said it felt like Vegas here. :) at lunch the temperature on the WJ console said 100 deg F at 1pm here in Everett... not driving the 300D because the a/c leaked down... and I ain't driving my cj-10a w/o ac. :) john ----- - ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Snohomish, Washington -o|||||o- where Jeeps don't rust, they mold http://AMSOIL.com/redirect.cgi?zo=283461 http://creationwiki.org http://johnmeister.com http://wagoneers.com http://fotomeister.us - ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 29 Jul 2009 19:36:09 -0700 (PDT) From: diesel john Subject: Re: fsj: weather in Seattle thanx... the 2nd round of antibiotics and new antihistimine spray is helping... feeling better, despite 104 deg local temps... the haze from the heat is blocking my view of the mountains, thunderstorm warnings... also very unusual here... driving the WJ with a/c... cooler temps hopefully by next week and I'll start driving my cj-10a again... :) john ----- - ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Snohomish, Washington -o|||||o- where Jeeps don't rust, they mold http://AMSOIL.com/redirect.cgi?zo=283461 http://creationwiki.org http://johnmeister.com http://wagoneers.com http://fotomeister.us - ------------------------------------------------------------------------ On Wed, 29 Jul 2009, Michel Balea wrote: # Just heard it..... 97 in Seattle.
