I'm not sure if I'm getting ready to go to Plan F, G or back to A... (just get the popcorn out). no trip to Oregon this weekend... for the following reasons: 1) the torque converter wasn't lost; it was sent out to be rebuilt (good thing) 2) the T19/D300 buyer is fighting fires in LA 3) the SD33T/Scout owner's mother is in the hospital 4) burned out from my daughter's wedding and dealing with Microsoft systems 5) have a pile of buckets and containers with WVO that needs to go north 6) no money left after #4 7) the flex plate that is coming is broken and hopefully repairable 8) the flex plate that isn't broken is still lost in idaho 9) about two weeks worth of top gear, hogan's heroes and dr. who on tivo I'm trying to put together a complete SD33T/TF727/NP208 drivetrain for superdawg... have a freshly rebuilt and shift-kitted TF727 that set me back 6 c-notes... have an SD33T that won't start because the IP wasn't stored properly... trying to decide if I'm going to fix what I have or buy another... (see #3) buying parts from sanford and sons in idaho wasn't a good idea to start with... but buying more parts was probably a less good idea... or about the time murphy showed up. At this point, I've probably got one of the most unique assortment of almost complete projects around, well, except for a couple other people I could think of like Kevin, Tom, Jim, Curtis, Bill, Dave... oh, never mind... here's what I have that needs a home, contributions to the superdawg fund required to gain ownership: a good Jeep 4.2L I-6 gas engine a good Jeep T-176 a good Jeep AW4 a custom built adapter for the AW4 to mate to a SJ (23 spline) NP transfer case a good Jeep NP219 (my son may buy this for his '85 GW...) a good Jeep TF727 setup with a Scout D20 output shaft and gear! - from an '89 GW, very good a good Scout T19/D300 (spoken for) the remains of an '80 Jeep J10 - curtis gets first dibs a good Jeep '86 cj-10a a bunch of empty cubies a bunch of 5 gallon white buckets with lids used for flower arranging... have a nice weekend... john ----- - ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Snohomish, Washington -o|||||o- where Jeeps don't rust, they mold http://AMSOIL.com/redirect.cgi?zo=283461 http://creationwiki.org http://johnmeister.com http://wagoneers.com http://fotomeister.us - ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 5 Sep 2009 20:05:27 -0700 (PDT) From: diesel john Subject: fsj: SD33 flex plates for TF727 got more pictures of my broken flex plate, but still don't know the OD. http://wagoneers.com/DIESELS/ScoutDiesels/SD33-flexplate/ALL.html http://wagoneers.com/DIESELS/ScoutDiesels/SD33-TF727-parts/ looks like there may be a few other options... here's an 8 bolt mopar: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Mopar-Performance-4529752AB-Flexplate-Internal-Engine_W0QQitemZ390090760685QQcmdZViewItemQQptZMotors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories?hash=item5ad338a1ed&_trksid=p4506.c0.m245 Mopar Performance 4529752AB Flexplate, Internal Engine Balance, 2-Piece Rear Main Seal, 8-Bolt, Chrysler, V8, Each Product Code: DCC-4529752AB Manufacturer: Mopar Performance here's another one: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/MOPAR-PERFORMANCE-DODGE-PLYMOUTH-HEMI-8-BOLT-FLEXPLATE_W0QQitemZ260458468551QQcmdZViewItemQQptZMotors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories?hash=item3ca488d4c7&_trksid=p4506.c0.m245 kind of funny if that is the one, it's from a Dodge 426 Hemi 8-Bolt... jim may be vindicated once and for all... amazing... looks like something the trans shop will be able to get on Tuesday... breathing a bit easier now... ;) next will be trying to find some injectors and fix my IP... john ----- - ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Snohomish, Washington -o|||||o- where Jeeps don't rust, they mold http://AMSOIL.com/redirect.cgi?zo=283461 http://creationwiki.org http://johnmeister.com http://wagoneers.com http://fotomeister.us - ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------ End of fsj-digest V1 #3421 **************************
