She needs to pay her electric bill by Monday 09-14. Since I cannot, I told her I would put it up on the list. It is a J3000. 350 V8 with auto trans. The motor is very recently rebuilt by a local automotive machine shop. She also mentioned some rust in the floor board, which she has cut out in preparation for replacement. I took a quick look on my way home and snapped some pictures on my phone, but did not give it a serious once over as nobody was home at the time. The grill pieces appear intact and reasonably straight. Good driver quality. Body has some bumps and bruises, but not necessarily beat. No cancer that I noticed, but as I said I was not thorough. I have the lady's number if anybody is interested, or would like more details. Vehicle is in Centralia, WA. I-5 at exit 82. Midway between Portland and Seattle. Please respond to Machinedoc2002 (at) yahoo.com As I am on digest here. ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 11 Sep 2009 15:49:37 -0700 (PDT) From: diesel john Subject: fsj: SD33T (superdawg) project... flexplate found finally found the flex plate for the SD33T/TF727... $87.51 plus shipping Nissan part # 3398190103 International part #478 411 C1 I can't find your email, but THANK you whoever suggested I call Ron at Web Foot Trucking in Medford, OR... Bob found the correct part (using the numbers above, thanx Curtis) in a warehouse in Wisconsin... will be there in 5 to 7 working days then shipped up here, where I'll take it and the freshly rebuilt TF727 and torque converter down to Centralia. I feel much better using the correct part as opposed to an aftermarket or worse, a mopar part... ;) (just kidding mopar fans, it's probably a mopar part anyway...) the superdawg project is coming together slowly, but that seems to be the theme... slow... after all we started this project in Spring 2001. Guess you can't rush excellence... :) john http://wagoneers.com/FSJ/SuperDawg/ALL-pix/ALL-85pct.html NOTE: will be painted same color as my WJ: http://wagoneers.com/fotos/SouthDakota_2006/WJ-lightning.jpg http://wagoneers.com/FSJ/rigs/1986-CJ10A/0_best-of-CJ-10A.html ----- - ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Snohomish, Washington -o|||||o- where Jeeps don't rust, they mold http://AMSOIL.com/redirect.cgi?zo=283461 http://creationwiki.org http://johnmeister.com http://wagoneers.com http://fotomeister.us - ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 11 Sep 2009 20:29:15 -0400 From: "Neal Hoover" Subject: fsj: Re: Clunker math DON'T GET ME STARTED AGAIN, JOHN!!!!
