I was doing some cleanup of errors on my server by updating with a script... and I think I had a quote or a wildcard in the wrong location in one of the perl lines... oops. anyway, there are a now a number of 0 bytes files that used to have content. I've recovered a few via google/cache... will work on more later... If you look for some tech info on the server and see nothing, try to google the page URL and see if you can get the cached version... then view the source and email it to me, I'd appreciate it. Don't go out of your way... only lost content on 1,781 pages... but since many of those were boilerplates it's not horrific... (there is 41 Gb of content on my server... lots and lots of pages... ) since it's mostly the README.html and ALL.html files that seemed to get hit... as far as I can tell the images weren't affected and I killed the script before it got too deep into the Jeep directories... the CS stuff was purged, but luck would have it that I had just done an scp of that directory on my Linux box in my lab... :) this isn't such a bad thing... my web pages have been on line since 1995 and really, really needed to be cleaned up... been meaning to but afraid I would break something... WELL, I'M NOT AFRAID OF BREAKING ANYTHING ANY MORE... now I can clean it up. :) I'm going to take this opportunity to move major directories around into various domains and out of wagoneers.com.
