I could feel it so I used the hway, not the freeway on my way back. Coil.... made it to work.... but not out. Spark plug wires... it went really fine on the way to an outing to Monterrey.... but at 9pm..... on a sunday nite it did not start.... we had the highway patrol drive one of us to a car rental place.... so we could make it to work.... 6 people in the wagoneer. Brake line ruptured, well like neatly cut off..... luckily while parking..... but I still had to pull in front of a school bus... because of our steep street.... I had to aim for a driveway. Ruptured leaf spring while off-road in Moab, the add a leaf stuck forward and I hit a few boulders.... so it acted like a power hammer.... after a few ledges it was a sudden bang and a drop of the left side, the axle moving rearward and cutting off the brake line. Fortunately the Moab junkyard had a spare.... but I had to drive back on less than ideal lift.... because of the sagging replacement. And of course numerous out of gas events.... the last one was the failling epump.... so now I have an idea of how long those carter pump last 7 years....
