No llist rules were violated, and you may have gotten some support and the delete function worked. What's the problem? :) - ------Original Message------ From: Troy Phagan Sender: owner-fsj-at-digest.net To: fsj-digest-at-digest.net ReplyTo: Troy Phagan Subject: fsj: sorry Sent: Oct 30, 2010 08:16 Sorry, I mis-clicked and unintentionally sent the FSJ list the email regarding the Muscular Dystrophy Association (Jerry's Kids....) solicitation email. I know I think about my FSJ from time to time... you know, the one that has been in pieces for 10 years now... :) FWIW, the acting list mom's email may not be right in your notes, his carrier was changed and he's busy as the IT director for a company in Ohio and likely hasn't updated the list notes... but you can always drop me a line if you're concerned, feel free to do so. Over the last 16 years or so a few people have left our community because of the noise, but the noise has also created a lot of good friends. Many of us that have traveled have taken the time to look up and visit with other list members. We are unique among many lists... I think. :) Anyway, I immediately figured that Troy misfired as he's always been very respectful of the list... and as noted earlier, he didn't violate any of the four rules I set up at the beginning of the fsj, xj and Diesel-Benz lists... it was a newer person to the list that wasn't familiar with our fsj family and the loose and friendly nature we have here... not sure how many of us there are now, it's not an insignificant number, but ever since 1994 we've bonded together over our Full Size Jeeps and often share our lives with each other... guess it's time to run stats on the lists again. :) no reason to stop now... troy, I hope your efforts for the kids are successful, I didn't and won't contribute, but that's ok, my delete key worked fine and maybe someone on the list knows someone who has been affected by this problem and was led to contribute... bravo if so, if not... the delete function is located in many places, depending on your mail utility... we can assist you in locating it... :) just kidding... hope all is well... I'm heading off to the parts store for some Diesel purge for my VW TDI that I got valuable info on from guys on the XJ, FSJ and Diesel Benz lists... :) sure it was slightly off topic, but then again, so are most of us. :) john On 10/30/2010 8:16 AM, Troy Phagan wrote: > Sorry, I mis-clicked and unintentionally sent the FSJ list the email > regarding the Muscular Dystrophy Association (Jerry's Kids....) > solicitation email. > > Human error; my apologies. ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 30 Oct 2010 20:30:30 -0700 (PDT) From: john Subject: fsj: it worked. well, as far as I can tell... had a problem with my VW TDI, it was spitting up a P0252 code after running a bad batch of biodiesel... So, I used Diesel Purge and it quieted the TDI down and the power was back... drove it up the hill and back, no hammering, no check engine light... thanx again chuck for providing that tdi link, http://www.tdiblog.com/tdi-do-it-yourself/tdi-fuel-injection-cleaning-diesel-purge/ saved me a lot of time. Although when I bought the Diesel Purge product it didn't come with any hoses or anything like they talked about in the link, but it only cost about $4.80 at the Woodinville NAPA. I bought two, ran out of the first can will running it a higher rpm, still had some left over from the 2nd can so I put it in my Mercedes. It's running a LOT better with pump Diesel in it. I love that Mercedes Diesel. The 124 is a nice chassis, but driving the Jetta is so much nicer. We're giving some thought to selling the '99 WJ and buying a cheap XJ to move the trailer around and get about in snow until my J10 is done. The WJ has seen about 70 miles since July. john ----- - ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Snohomish, Washington -o|||||o- where Jeeps don't rust, they mold http://AMSOIL.com/redirect.cgi?zo=283461 si vis pacem, para bellum http://johnmeister.com http://wagoneers.com http://fotomeister.us - ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------ End of fsj-digest V1 #3642 **************************
