I even parked my truck across the road with my amber beacon going and they blew past, giving the Pirate salute (single finger) only to go over the railing or crash into someone already stuck there. (hopefully no major injuries occurred as once they rounded the corner I could barely hear the crashes, but the sounds corresponded with every car as it went down, so I doubt the guardrail is still standing) > Date: Mon, 22 Nov 2010 19:07:54 -0800 > From: john-at-wagoneers.com > To: > Subject: fsj: snow and snohomish don't mix > > took over an hour to get home, normal time is 20 to 30 minutes... > > about 1/3rd of the way there I cut off on backroads and missed a LOT of > traffic... it was bumper to bumper all the way down the hill on SR9, but > I zigged and zagged and missed all of it. :) Jeep on! > > http://fotomeister.us/2010/11-Nov-22-Monday-Snow/ALL.html > > > > ----- > ------------------------------------------------------------------------ > Snohomish, Washington -o|||||o- where Jeeps don't rust, they mold > http://AMSOIL.com/redirect.cgi?zo=283461 si vis pacem, para bellum > http://johnmeister.com http://wagoneers.com http://fotomeister.us > ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 22 Nov 2010 23:16:35 -0800 From: john Subject: Re: fsj: '63 Waggie for $1600 on CL near Tacoma they changed more than the grill, the entire front clip, drivetrain... REMEMBER, CASH TALKS and BS walks. john here's the response from the ad: "Hi, First of all I want to thank you for your interest for my car. I sell it at this price ($ 2,750) because i just finished the divorce with my husband. The divorce has finished 6 months ago and the car is mine now. After the divorce I was forced to buy a new house. Following the financial crisis I can't afford to pay the bank and I decided to sell the car. This car is in excellent working condition, no scratches, flaws or any kind of damage, slightly used, in 100% working and looking condition and comes with a clear title. >From the beginning you have to know that for the payment I request only secure pay, I prefer the payment to be done using eBay services (I will receive the payment only after you receive and inspect the car and only if you agree to buy it). We will use a safe payment method because I am affiliated at eBay and I have a purchase protection account. The final price that I want for this car is $2,750. I will pay for shipping and handling. If you are interested in buying it please provide me your full name and address so I can initiate the deal through eBay. I will wait your answer (if you are interested to buy) very soon. Thank you, Nancy Johnson" ----- - ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Snohomish, Washington -o|||||o- where Jeeps don't rust, they mold http://AMSOIL.com/redirect.cgi?zo=283461 si vis pacem, para bellum http://johnmeister.com http://wagoneers.com http://fotomeister.us - ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------ End of fsj-digest V1 #3650 **************************
