I have a set of power mirrors with the switch (boxed and ready to go for $35), and the power brake booster with master cylinder (which has a HUGE bore!) which won't fit the 6 cyl full size, because it's too big ($50 obo), the aluminum front bumper which was slightly bent on the right for free! (you pick up) and I'm sure there's more to come yet! How many does it take to improve a highway in Minnesota? (the real answer is 3, how many can you count? :) http://digitalcity.netscape.com/twincities/news/article.dci?article=270124 some excerpts: ...9 protesters ... arrested Monday as they tried to stop crews from cutting down 30 trees... next phase of Hwy. 55 construction in Minneapolis. One laid in front of a police cruiser and another tried to use a bike lock to attach himself to a front-end loader before police knocked him to the ground and dragged him away. ...50 protesters ...60 law enforcement personnel watching ...the three-man crew ...to fell about 30 trees. Amid drum pounding, bullhorn shouting, and shrieking, members of the loosely organized protest movement reacted angrily, some sobbing, as one by one, the trees were knocked down. One man stood for minutes with tears flowing. "They [the trees] are living things. They may not be like us in the living sense, but they drink the same water,"... "Should they be destroyed so people from the suburbs who fled the city 20 years ago can be able to get back quicker to the city to loot it?"... (said one protester.) :) john - ---------------------------------------------------- john-at-wagoneers.com http://www.wagoneers.com http://www.freegift.net/ - ---------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 28 Jul 1999 06:19:44 -0700 (PDT) From: Brian Subject: fsj: Fwd: [TXTK] Fwd: Whoops! > Read the following message carefully. > The "language filter" mentioned is an automatic > filter on a BBS to "help" > guests use niceer language. > > > "I've seen an ad in magazines for a plexiglbutt > hardtop from Road Armor. You CAN drive on hardsurfaces with this. From my feeble memory I believe this is a differentiated unit. It does NOT have 4wd high lock up capablity, where the NP219 does. You will NOT hurt this unit running in 4wd all the time. >--> >-->I bought the service manual a year ago, and it basically backed this up, but >-->I never had an owners manual because I was waiting for the previous owner to >-->send it to me. I'd say look at the web page somewhere on my site that covers the NP229... it's out there... somewhere... :) I'd recommend doing it at slower speeds, as based on my experiences with the NP229. >--> >-->They are consistent about shifting the transfer case at least.
