Question 1: What would it cost, or is it feasible to adapt an AisinWarner 30-40Le? (that's the 4speed auto from an xj) Question 2: What would it cost, or is it feasible to adapt a TH400? (fyi, route 1 takes me to using my 4.0L, route 2 takes me to a Diesel conversion. ) later, john - ------------------------------------------------------- john-at-wagoneers.com http://www.wagoneers.com ...don't leave life without Jesus, please! I got some clips from Barry Gordy's Last Dragon and Once a Thief where a motorcycle goes over the roof of a GW, and a shot where it gets airborn too! I had some pics of the 2 Jeeps in one Buffy episode (the tainted chocolate bars) where a ZJ and SJ nearly collide (or did they? not sure anymore) But OTOH, a IRL (in real life) situation from last year. Cindy Crawford and hubby were driving their '91 GW and lost control because they had to swerve when some horses ran in front of them on the highway. They hit a culvert, and Cindy credited the Jeep for saving their lives. (she only got a bit of glass in her eye).
