All, If any of you want this beast and spare parts, I'll take $1000 for the whole deal. Here's what I've got: - - '83 Wagoneer, Limited. White. Front end body damage, minimal rust, interior is rough but intact. It came from southern New Mexico so there is only a small amount of rust in the left rear section behind the rear tire (that I know of). Engine is strong, Edelbrock intake with Stock carb, but has a lobe going flat on the cam (Edelbrock cam is in spare engine). The tranny (built for towing and offroad 3000 miles ago), t-case (with DNC conversion rebuilt 4000 miles ago), axles w/3.50 gears (inspected Professionally 4000 miles ago), and drive shafts (new u-joints), are from a '78 wide track Cherokee. Exhaust has 500 miles on it, headers, 2-1/4" pipe to Flow Master "Y" to 3" cat and muffler ($600. in exhaust system alone). B&M Z-gate floor shifter. The front leafs are new, and there are 2" blocks in the rear. There is some vibration due to the pinion angle, but it can be fixed easily because the vehicle is fitted with custom clamp on leaf pads. There is a whining noise that I believe may be wheel bearings that will have to be taken care of fairly soon. Tow hitch is included. Basically what I have is an '83 Waggy with '78 WT Cherokee running gear. The vehicle runs strong but the engine makes some taping noise due to the cam. Does not include the '83 rear bumper. '78 WT Cherokee parts included: - -Front clip (hood, grill, radiator holder, wheel wells, fenders, everything from the front doors forward) - -AMC 360 WITH EDELBROCK CAM. Includes AC pump, PS pump, fan, maybe even the alternator. Good start on rebuild. - -2 2bbl intake manifolds and 2 sets of stock exhaust manifolds - -'78 Cherokee doors W/glass - -'78 tailgate with glass - -Rhino Chaser Grill. - -NEW, still in the package, weather striping for tailgate. - -Steering column from steering wheel to rag joint. - -Brake MC with vacuum booster and brake pedal - -PS box - -Instrument cluster - -I'll even throw in a Rochester Q-jet. - -I'm sure I have more.... Take the whole deal now for $1000. It has Oregon tags and passed DEQ testing with flying colors (on the dyno). I looked at the component list for the stuff used in the actual Preluber product and was astounded! 300 bucks for a pump? the smae pump the EXACT pump is 98 bucks at Northern Hydrualics. To me I see the kit as three seperate component groups. 1- the pump 2- the electronic control module/sensor+pump-power relay. 3- the hose fittings, hoses the only thing I think would take any more than a few seconds of though is the ECM stuff. Another Thing I dont like about the Prluber product is that the oil is picked up via the drain plug. To me this seems great for street application but off road, especiall down in the terrain we see in georgia I would not any to have some brass fitting extending off my oil pan just waiting to snag something and break off If anything I would pick it up at the oil filter, perhaps even employ a oil filter relocation kit to protect further and put the pump, the filter and evertyhing in question up out of harms way. Another idea I have been kicking around is the use of hard conduit in a sem-floating configuring to protec wire of oil/fuel lines etc that go to the engine. In short a pipe that fits into a smaller pipe, the Larger pipe fitted via hing mount to the frame of wheel well extending to a around a smaller pipe mounted atop the engine or amoung the accesory brackets. As I see it this allow for side to side movement as well as pitch angle changed in the engine, with slight hinge improvment perhaps forward/reverse motion can be taken into account however I could not think of any SAFE or GOOD reason you would want your engine/trans moving forwards or backards on its mounts.
