I sometimes can go 250 miles without seeing my fuel gauge needle move on my TDI... :) they have a patent pending on it... guess in the EV world it has a lot of potential, they mentioned the Tesla a couple of times. They're active in the Seattle EV chapter, actually I think the one guy is the president of the club. The rims didn't work out... the ID of the center opening was about 5mm smaller than the OD on the hub... :( bummer for both of us... they wanted to mount special EV tires for RAV4 EVs on them, lower rolling resistance. after I got home, I went out in the garden and took some pictures: http://fotomeister.us/2011/06-Jun-11-garden-MACRO-mac-n-jack/ALL.html last night bought our cats, mac and jack, an early birthday present (tomorrow is their 1st bday!), these are all real shots, I would look over my desk at them, grab the camera and shoot... http://fotomeister.us/2011/06-Jun-10-mac-n-jack-earlyBdayPresent-bday12th/ALL.html I think I got the fuel smell issues resolved on my J10, replaced most of the fuel line under the hood, cleaned up some electrical wiring. Jeep was still using the Ford type starter, which barely fired up the gas motors so it wouldn't have started the SD33. Those old seats were actually from a CJ or VJ that I put in the J4000.
