The current owner bought it from me in 2006. Since then he's had the brakes completely gone through and everything is in proper working order. Comes with an original PTO setup as well. I put an original engine and transmission in it and put a new top on it, had it painted white and gathered up original Willys Overland OEM parts from Toledo. It is running great. Sweet little CJ-2A with original drivetrain. It does have "updated tires and rims" and likely a non-stock color, but otherwise, it's original. http://wagoneers.com/Willys/48-CJ-2A/ The guy that bought it was a Navy pilot flying F-8's, he had to bail out over Oregon and landed in Crater Lake in 1961. :) http://wagoneers.com/Willys/48-CJ-2A/Boardman.txt Anyway, he contacted me, they aren't using it, it's just sitting around, so they've asked me to help find it a new home. We figured out what he paid for it and what he's put into it and settled on a starting price for ebay of $7000. I'll be putting it up on ebay for him. There's no reason why you couldn't drive it home. I'll be heading up into the mountains to shoot it tomorrow. They live in a beautiful little town near the pass alongside a mountain river. :) Will make for some great pictures! john ----- - ------------------------------------------------------------------------ -o|||||o- fahrvergnugen y'all Snohomish, Washington - where Jeeps and VWs don't rust, they mold http://AMSOIL.com/redirect.cgi?zo=283461 http://JohnMeister.com HTTP://WAGONEERS.COM http://fotomeister.us - ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 28 Aug 2011 05:05:00 +0000 From: john Subject: fsj: Re: Jumping to Linux Go jim go.
