Can be used on I6 engines with minor changes. I bought it from zmjeeps to fix my J10, but I was able to repair my own harness. It's top quality. I didn't use it to fix mine because: 1) the new harness differed slightly from mine a) it was 10pm and my son needed the truck to move in the morning b) was my harness messed up or was this the wrong one? c) if I changed the new one to match the existing would it work? d) if I changed mine to match the new what would turn to smoke? e) I didn't have the tool to move the wiring in the block f) I would have had to upgrade three other connectors at the same time g) and I forgot that zach told me there would be differences 2) when I opened my harness up I found a number of broken splices 3) when I fixed the splices all worked as designed So, I have this harness and one each irritated zach. I took pictures of the harness and will be summarizing the wiring adventure, recommending this harness to normal Jeep enthusiasts because it is superb quality and while expensive, it'll save you a lot of time, return your FSJ to better than stock setup, not require a bypass of your amp gauge, improve connectors for the ignition and coil and make your Jeep look better. here's the details on zmjeeps: http://stores.zmjeeps.com/Detail.bok?no=128666 Email me off list if you're interested. Please don't forward this to other lists. Only have the one... If I don't get a response in a week or so I'll return it and further irritate zach. I'm going to write the article with several options... considering how much time I spent fixing mine, zach's harness will be at the top of my recommendations. And yes, I've messed with the painless wiring harnesses before, they're ok, but you can roll your own for much, much less... Zach's harness is precision cut to design length. If you bought all his harnesses it'll cost a little more than the painless, but trust me, even upgrading your connectors to work with zach's will be a better end result. I'll also include in the article how I've fixed harnesses one circuit at a time... it's nice to have options, especially when some of them are as nice as this one. email me at john-at-wagoneers.com it's boxed up and ready to go back or to a list member... john ----- - ------------------------------------------------------------------------ -o|||||o- fahrvergnugen y'all - please reply to: john-at-wagoneers.com Snohomish, Washington - where Jeeps and VWs don't rust, they mold http://AMSOIL.com/redirect.cgi?zo=283461 TRSTGZS http://JohnMeister.com HTTP://WAGONEERS.COM http://fotomeister.us - ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 3 Mar 2012 20:39:31 -0800 (PST) From: john Subject: fsj: chyrsler literature on FB ----- - ------------------------------------------------------------------------ -o|||||o- fahrvergnugen y'all - please reply to: john-at-wagoneers.com Snohomish, Washington - where Jeeps and VWs don't rust, they mold http://AMSOIL.com/redirect.cgi?zo=283461 TRSTGZS http://JohnMeister.com HTTP://WAGONEERS.COM http://fotomeister.us - ------------------------------------------------------------------------ - ---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: El PROFESOR 4X4 Date: Sat, 3 Mar 2012 11:16:02 +0000 Subject: A MUST-SEE ENJOY! http://www.facebook.com/ChryslerLiterature?sk=wall DAN ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 4 Mar 2012 20:15:46 -0800 (PST) From: john Subject: fsj: another one bites the dust... fleet reduction... tool boxes for sale sold the '02 Jetta sedan this evening... I just feel better about keeping the '87 300D... so I'm going to spend some money to finish making it perfect... 300D: the 300D has been averaging 25 mpg in town... will be taking the 300D into the dealer for the rear bushing, timing/oil pump chains... don't want to kill another 124... one was enough. J10: wondering if a shift kit would help a tired TF727 in my '83 J10, thoughts? Superdawg: of course all this may be a mute point, curtis is actually making progress... if he shoots it all one color then all that's left is the assembly, that could easily be done in a week...
