Match this and I'll buy you coffee. Where did that extra stuff come from? Which frame shows the evidence?? I thought you'd each get a kick out of this. The jeeps with frames provide a few more options. the XJ, MJ, WJs have the uniframe, interesting the way the guy created a nice mount on the passenger side. When I've looked at swapping something into an XJ, MJ or WJ I had the idea of building a bracket that would saddle the top of the frame rail and drop down into the opening, that wasy the stress on the bracket wouldn't be as great, as the weight would push down and out instead of just supporting in shear. But this looks like it'll do the job nicely and with isolation... provided that one bushing is capable of handling all that... it's funny to read the comments of folks who are clearly unfamiliar with Diesels and Mercedes though... :) john ----- - ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- -o|||||o- Linux: the choice of a GNU generation http://WAGONEERS.COM Snohomish, WA- where Jeeps don't rust, they mold ...shop AMSOIL directly at: http://AMSOIL.com/redirect.cgi?zo=283461 - ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- "A thorough knowledge of the Bible is worth more than a college education" Theodore Roosevelt (26th President (1901-09), 1858-1919) RTM: TRSTGZS - ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- On Thu, 19 Jul 2012, Jim Blair wrote: # http://i1187.photobucket.com/albums/z381/91dieseljeep/20111029145738.jpg # # http://comancheclub.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=32798 # ------------------------------ End of fsj-digest V1 #3945 **************************
