Freeway mileage is in line with what my 91 GW did. In town you'll see 15-16. No ac but it could be added. Lots of room under that hood. They are very wide. Nice rigs. I've had 3 of the civvy versions. WDYT? Michel http://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/cto/3496339238.html Great solid truck. Runs on biodiesel and regular diesel and I have tank setup for running waste veg oil wvo. (thats the 50 gallon ALUMNINUM ($400) tank you see beneath the truck, it is now mounted.) The truck is now yellow with new 34" tires on black/silver aluminum rims! Great tread. I have the fuel preheater + centrifugal filter, ($700) dual racor 100 filters. HUGE but fit nicely under the hood. ($900) Military spec top to bottom. Heavy duty suspension transmission and transfercase. Dual alternators. New: brakes, front pumpkin and all axles. New Rear axle seals and bearings with the new aluminum rims New front driveshaft(was rusty). Shop done 12volt electrical system conversion with dual alternators and batteries for military electrical power take off in the cab. New removable rear cap with tinted windows and NO LEAKS! New front springs and new door hinges and door seals. 80 thousand original (title to prove it) miles and no smoke at all from engine. Gets great hwy mpg as it is a diesel too! Close to 25mpg hwy. Veg it out! I never finished veg conversion. Great 4x4 for snow and mud. Check out YouTube m1009. Either way, these engines are known to go to 300k miles. So at 80k this truck is just getting broken in. I also have all of the printed military manuals for the truck. But see www.steelsoldiers.com for more. ######## john @ wagoneers.com ######## "A thorough knowledge of the Bible is worth more than a college education" - Theodore Roosevelt ######## two word summary: Trust Jesus ######## ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 29 Dec 2012 12:40:37 -0500 From: JeepNut Subject: fsj: OT -ZJ issues?
