Subject: A Day in the life of FSJ
A short story about a day in the life of my '77.
This past Saturday was Cub Scout Pinewood Derby.
I am official keeper of the track, and haul it in my Cherokee
(couple inches to spare from rear glass to front windshield).
There was a cold rain falling on the evening we had to setup.
I decided to pull the Jeep up on the sidewalk under the "roof".
I thought that there were no school officials around, and it
wouldn't hurt anything.
It was a piece of cake to drop into low range and back up over
the 8" curb. All was well until a couple hours later when I
thought "oh no, what if it drips oil/trans fluid on the sidewalk!"
I figured it was too late to move then. But to my surprize,
when it came time to leave, probably four hours later, there was
not a drop on the sidewalk.
FSJs do have good manners!
