http redirect using a file
OBJECTIVE: point to a file somewhere else without using a sym-link or making a copy
Example, pictures from a car show were placed on a server, problem was the directory was deeper than needed creating
a long URL (uniform resource locater). A sym-link (symbolic link) could have been created, but these can be
problematic when using rsync or even find.
One can create a server directive using Apache2 in the /etc/apache2/default-server.conf file, but if you're using
a hosted server or are NOT a sysadmin with root access or not allowed sudo, then creating a file in the location
where you want a shorter URL by that name, and then in that file, put the following string to the full URL:

simple form:
1) create html file in desired directory, it'll be the SHORT URL
2) in that file put only the following string on one line, using the actual long URL
3) find that shorter URL and test it. You can change the delay as needed, content="X - where X equals seconds.
in the example above the delay is one second, typically have used 3 seconds, YMMV.
