87 300D repairs - 27 Dec 2011

tightened 5 link parts
repaired powered headrest - replaced drive gear - $23
pulled instrument cluster and knee pad to resolder cruise control,
replaced 47uF capacitor on Oil Sensor, reflowed connections
replaced 2 - 100uF capacitors on the clock - FIXED IT
replaced the old 4pin Outside Temp Sensor with a newer 5 pin and changed the connector,
	doesn't appear to be working... external sensor could be bad...
trip reset mechanism is still bad... forgot to replace the lights in the heater control.
murphy only dropped by for a few minutes - had to take a couple things apart twice.
added the deer whistles under the license plate...
