The whole bottle treats many hundreds of gallons (I forget off hand how much), but if u put the whole bottle in the tank, it might help. A little tip in the guise of a question: If ATF added to diesel fuel is any good, how come they don't dump a barrel of the stuff in the tanks -at- any of the truck stops in North Dakota? They don't. If I were you, and I added more than a quart of ATF to a full tank of diesel, I'd drain the tank. There is another product I've heard of that you use straight into the fuel intake line in to the fuel pump, with a hose coming out into a jar of this stuff, and you run the motor until it's all gone, sounds more complicated than it looked in the catalog, if the howes lubricator product doesn't work, I'll find the number for the free catalog with the info in it. Of course, you could always have the injectors rebuilt, there is a company in Portland, OR, (a suburb of Vancouver, WA ;-} ) that rebuilds all kinds of injectors, saving you a lot of money.
