Thought you might like to know about an internet mail list I started on digest.net specifically for Mercedes Diesels: http://www.digest.net/diesel-benz/ I have a few technical pages specifically related to Mercedes Benz Diesels at wagoneers.com, those pages appear at: http://www.wagoneers.com/DieselBenz/ The http://www.wagoneers.com/DieselBenz/mercedes-diesels.html page provides technical data on Diesel Models up to about 1995. Topics on the mail list vary from techniques used to merge onto freeways to technical problems related to starting and the vacuum system. The owner of digest.net has a Diesel powered Mercedes and graciously provides the space to us. He's also provided space for two other lists I started there: the Full Size Jeep (FSJ-list, for SJ models, Grand Wagoneers and earlier) and the downsized Cherokee list (XJ-list). I joined the Mercedes Club of Amercia this summer. I've owned a handful of Mercedes: a 220D, a 240D, a 450SEL and my current 300D. I'm waiting patiently for the ML270TD. :) I'm still kicking myself for not buying that used 230SL in Frankfurt back in 1976. The Star is a fantastic publication, and I need to find time to order that back issue from earlier this year on Diesels. :) john meister member # M012896 snohomish, washington (sr. Also had the vacuum system diagnosed and found the master switch on the driver's door to be bad and the trunk element also bad. It's amazing, the door locks work now, slowly, but they work... :) When I get the parts in it'll all work perfectly. john - ---------------------------------------------- | john-at-virtual-cafe.com | | http://www.wagoneers.com | | jesus - don't leave life without him... | | http://www.virtual-cafe.com/~john | - ---------------------------------------------- | Diesel Benz, Full Size Jeeps and xj's... | | found on http://www.digest.net | - ---------------------------------------------- ------------------------------ End of diesel-benz-digest V1 #34 ********************************
