You know, it's funny, sometimes taking stuff way far apart actually makes the job easier. It's a paradox, isn't it? :) How many times I've contorted and twisted to work around something instead of taking the time to drop the tranny or pull the seat or dash... Seems like shop manuals don't always give you enough information or advice. BTW, I got my Body and Chassis Manuals for the 123 last night! Now I just have to figure out which sections will tell me why I'm still having vacuum problems. :) Guess I need to invest in a vacuum tester. later, john At 12:59 AM 12/2/98 -0600, M. Anyone got a fix for this problem? Win95 version, can't do Win98, stuff quit working when I "upgraded". (I've also downloaded the service pack for Win95 and upgraded the winsock.) I'm finding myself doing my writing on my old HP 9000/720 workstation, it doesn't give me hassles like my PC does. Long live UNIX. :-) john > ---------- > Subject: Cars instead of Computers? > > At a COMDEX computer expo, Bill Gates reportedly compared the computer > industry with the auto industry and stated "If GM had kept up with > technology > like the computer industry has, we would all be driving twenty-five dollar > cars that got 1000 mi/gal."
