It's free, and you don't have to be a mermber -- pick it up for free at their page, aol.com If you've got it, my screen name is mjm240d. write away! It's handy, especially when thinking out a quirky auto and getting feedback. The name comes, of course, from my current (and first) MB diesel. _____________________________ Matthew J. But maybe Herman and I will visit Keukenhof this spring and take some friends as well, you seem to insist..... :-> I do 1.6 time the km's to convert to miles, that's accurate enough for me... Using the trip odometer to monitor fuel consumption is probably the most reliable solution, but you know how it is, I just can't stand it if my Herman has any defects, even minor. I'm afraid this attitude will cause me lots of labour in the coming years, but it will keep me from the street ;-) Btw, I really like the way you manage this list, your enthusiasm works infectious on me... Hi Mike, Thank you very much for this extensive description. Unfortunately, I forgot to mention that mine is a W123 300TD wagon (I will put this in my signature in the future :). These have the fuel tank under the trunk instead of behind the rear seat. Does anybody know how to get to the fuel sender on these wagons? Thanks, Pieter (trying hard to compensate lack of knowledge with lots of enthusiasm :-) 1983 300TD (Herman) - -----Oorspronkelijk bericht----- Van: mfrank-at-westnet.com Aan: diesel-benz-at-digest.net Datum: maandag 28 december 1998 2:56 Onderwerp: Re: Fuel light? > More likely, the fuel sender is oxidized.
