So do you change them or not? My 300TD already had 15" wheels/60 series tires when I got it. Sometimes I do wonder if 14" will improve the ride noticeably making the switch worth it. Not that the ride is bad but it does seem to have less composure on sharp bumps than my Mitsubishi. Also, I hesitate because my tires are less than year old :) Andrew ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 12 Jan 1999 07:43:03 -0800 From: john Subject: Re: diesel-benz postings rejected - headers attached I'll forward your message (it's down below...) according to the error message the ip address associated with your host name doesn't match... In addition, you have to mail from the address you >subscribed to the list with. i have tweaked the problem; there were too many disenfranchised as a result of the reverse lookup check. i'm migrating the lists to members only posting; for reasons which are unclear some of the list addresses have been found by spammers but not others, so i'm defering members only stuff for each list as long as the list is off the spammer's radar screens. the alfa and fsj lists just went members only, but the spammers haven't found diesel benz yet. members-only is an administrative annoyance, which is why i am delaying it for each list as long as possible. richard ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 12 Jan 1999 21:54:54 -0800 From: john Subject: Fritz is at it again... Ok, the locks weren't working right today, although I did get the heater, cruise and engine shutoff working right. Thanx again Dave for the mono valve tip. So tonight I break out the manuals, ... draw a map, and sure enough I had the cruise and the heater mixed up. Then, I turn the key and everything goes dead... So I wiggle wires under the hood and the dome light comes on dimly... The ground cable looks good, wiggled it with no change. I think this relates to the problem I was having with the starter a while back. Has anyone else had trouble with the positive cable down by the starter? thanx, john - ----------------------------------------------------------- john-at-virtual-cafe.com http://www.wagoneers.com 81 mercedes benz 300D (123) / 88 jeep wagoneer limited (xj) http://www.wagoneers.com/pages/john/Vehicle-History.html Snohomish, WA, where Jeeps don't rust, they mold... - ----------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 13 Jan 1999 19:43:37 -0500 From: Alfa Romeo Search and Rescue Society Subject: Welty Fund update.
