My family doesn't have a history of cancer, and I am doing my darndest to be the first. I KNOW it gets >colder than that back east, I grew up in Illinois/Wisconsin... :) Plain old untreated diesel fuel begins to cloud -at- twenty degrees F. Water freezes -at- 32F. Algae and bacteria grows all the rest of the time. Old fuel injection pumps need constant lubrication. Water is bad for your injectors. Combustion chambers need to be kept clean. Valve stems need carbon deposits removes. The product I use claims to do all that, it is very easy to use, and it costs me about $25/year extra. I also don't have to worry about whether or not my fuel is ok if I drive from the Vancouver USA/Portland area to much colder climates. I can only attest to the anti gelling properties of Howe's Lubricator, it kept our fuel from gelling in -20 Fargo, ND. Everything I am hoping for, just like with any other thing any of us put in with our fuel.
