I have an dance studio model to finish the roof on...so later, E. ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 22 Feb 1999 12:10:28 -0600 From: Alec Cordova Subject: Thanks for Windows 95 install/upgrade help I know, I'm still off-topic, but this is the quickest way to thank those who responded to my request for help this morning. Creating a file named win.cn_ didn't do it. I got around it by installing Windows 95b, renaming the Windows and program Files directories, then running the original Windows 95 upgrade setup. It was more than happy to downgrade me to the original Windows 95. Add this one to the list of completely inelegant creative solutions. I am thinking about getting a new MB this spring/summer and while I am looking for a 300SDL, my eyes keep looking at 280SEL, and the 450SEL 6.9. Is the 450 going to be a real compex bastard to maintain? Is it strangled by emmisions? Any help? Oh, I called Hatch and Sons. They have an 86 300SDL w/ 92k miles for $21.5k. I think the salesman I spoke to left charm school early. - -- Chris Klass New Jersey 82 300 SD 84 Volvo 245 98 Monster 750 - Pure Heaven! ------------------------------ End of diesel-benz-digest V1 #98 ********************************
