I'm thinking of getting an older J series truck, adding a 6.5L Turbo Diesel, or maybe a MB 300 Turbo Diesel, mounting it on an 80's wagoneer frame and either modifying the stepside to fit or build a custom bed. (the J10 is 115" wheelbase, the wagoneer is 108"... turning radius is the issue... ;) Anyways, my 81 300D has 134,000 miles, brand new Michelin MXV4s, alloy rims, plus a set of stock rims with 4 new studded snow tires, sunroof deflector, the Becker Grand Prix Electronic stereo, GTS headlight covers and IPF replacement headlamps... all new brakes, battery, vacuum lines, hoses, and so on. Ideas on it's real market value???? It's a great car, been fun to own it, but I like sitting up higher off the ground... :) No rush to sell, however, there is a nice J10 down in the Bay area I would love to buy... but my wife expects me to only have two toys at a time... so I have to part with one of 'em... :) Am I the only one that suffers like this? :) thanx, john - ----------------------------------------------------- john-at-virtual-cafe.com http://www.wagoneers.com http://www.virtual-cafe.com/~john http://www.wagoneers.com/book-info.html jesus, don't leave life without him, please! I've found a used 300CD I may try to buy if I sell my 300D... guess I need to move pretty quick though. :) I'd like to use a 300D motor in a Jeep actually... :) I found a dissassembled motor just down state a bit... trying to find what the guy wants for it... john At 03:07 PM 2/26/99 +0100, you wrote: >Hey John, >do you want to leave the MB camp?
