Not much can be done... I'd do more business over the internet shipping Jeep and Benz parts if it wasn't for the challenges of getting the stuff to folks... :( john - ---------------------------------------------------------------------- john meister sr. For example, Thrifty auto supply (Portland, OR-Vancouver, WA area) can usually get my gasket to the store nearest me within 24 hrs if they have it in their warehouseand the price compared to $10 just for shipping alone ain't bad.. Plus, and not many consider this, but you never really miss those local auto parts stores until they are gone, so don't cringe too much and go give them some of your money every now and then. Granted, if the prices are too high, don't buy it there, but also let them know the price is too high, and maybe you'll end up with a decent store close to where you live, or they will close beacause they charge too much. This theory goes double if you live in a one-auto-parts-store town. If they don't get any support, they'll be gone altogether, then you'll have to buy 3 years worth of oil to justify the shipping for a $.99 pack of fuses ;-) Dan kc7nol-at-juno.com On Thu, 18 Mar 1999 17:35:23 -0500 Chris Klass writes: >I just got off the phone with them.
