Still need to replace the vacuum lines for the tranny... waiting for the parts... Turned out the temperature sensor hose was pinched... I think I'm just gonna replace it with the factory tube... list is about $41, which is worth it considering the hassle of fiddling with the tube... john - ----------------------------------------------------- john-at-virtual-cafe.com http://www.wagoneers.com http://www.virtual-cafe.com/~john 77 Wagoneer (SJ) - 81 MB 300D (123) - 88 wagoneer (xj) jesus, don't leave life without him, please! I think the sun is coming out... :) I'm in the midst of migrating my home systems to Linux... so I'm cleaning up my harddrives in preparation... So I've put all the copies of DIGESTS that I have up on http://wagoneers.com http://wagoneers.com/FSJ/Digests-FSJ http://wagoneers.com/XJ/Digests-XJ http://wagoneers.com/DieselBenz/Digests-DieselBenz/ (I'm also trying to simplify the directory structures, so your links, if any, may be broken... let me know if I break any and I'll create a link so you won't have to fix yours... :) BTW, RedHat 6.0 is AWESOME!!! If you do it load GNOME and KDE, then check out gnumeric! It's a spreadsheet!!! The missing link in my migration off of windoze! :) If you have a collection of all the DIGESTS please look what's on the server and zip up the rest and email them to me. Of course the digests should be up on digest.net as well so they are available on line either way. :) I've got 4 gig of space on my server now so I can put the all up there. :) http://wagoneers.com is penguin powered... has always been. (the virtual-cafe.com has been running Linux since 1994!) Hope your 4th is drier than ours... the sun looks like it's trying to break through... but it's been raining all morning on and off... BTW, I'm selling two Sun systems... A Sparc LX running Linux Red Hat 5.2 with 24M of RAM, a 545M SCSI hard drive and a 14" monitor AND a Sparc Classic running Solaris 2.6, 96M of Ram, 545M SCSI hard drive and a 20" high end Sun Monitor. (No media or external CD.) Need the money to pay for my HP 715/100 and the upgrade to my primary Linux System... :) I'd like $400 for the LX and $650 for the Classic, includes shipping... will make a GREAT twofer deal... :) I've run out of space... (and network drops... :) Since I'm primarily an HP-UX admin I'm gonna keep the HP and sell the Suns. (find out for yourself why Sun is the dot in .com... :) (feel free to make me an offer, they have to go...) for grins see: http://wagoneers.com/UNIX/nt-not-here.jpg john - ---------------------------------------------------------------------- john-at-wagoneers.com http://www.virtual-cafe.com/~john/ http://www.wagoneers.com/UNIX/ http://www.wagoneers.com/UNIX/LINUX/year-of-the-penguin.html - ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 04 Jul 1999 14:09:29 -0700 From: john Subject: Racor Filters I found the literature while cleaning my office... The filtration for Diesels that I've used before is Racor. I've got a setup I was going to use on a Jeep Diesel conversion... it's just sitting in my shop now. No reason to use it, the MB filter setup seems adequate. john - ----------------------------------------------------- john-at-virtual-cafe.com http://www.wagoneers.com http://www.virtual-cafe.com/~john 77 Wagoneer (SJ) - 81 MB 300D (123) - 88 wagoneer (xj) jesus, don't leave life without him, please! I mean driving old rigs around you experience so many creaks, and groans and rattles... :) If a dog's 1st year=21 human years, and every year after that 7... (or something like that), we need to come up with something for a car.
