Like any good lady, Sadie the '77 240D Stickshift won't reveal her age. 229,xxx and holding on the odometer. has said the same since purchase. She doesn't get out much, so I just change her oil every 6 months or so. or by the fill-up - one oil change per 5 tanksful - given a conservative guess of 38 MPG - she is a stickshift, after all - and 16 gal avg. fill, a tankful must be about 600 miles. Therefore, every 5 fillups is approx. 3000 miles... A lady never reveals her age... I have a 300 but my friend might want a 240 if it will fit into his vehicle. How long is it without that extra cylinder etc etc? Also how "good" is it?
