It depends on how much attention your MB requires: Little=Male Lots=Female If this list has any female subscribers, I am now in deep doo-doo... My 240D acquired the name "Mathilde" early on. She is a bit stodgy, slow to get going, but she is a classy looking old lady. She's also very forgiving, otherwise "Brunhilde" would have ended up being her name! John's "Fritz", on the other hand, has an extra 600 cc of testosterone. He's apparently pretty frisky about town and occasionally lives up to his name.... >I 've been searching for the "small difference" on my car but > could not find it (maybe I don't have enough imagination? Just tryin' ta help ya out... MG industries make nice starters. Check out their page at http://www.mean-green.com/ I talked to them about Benz starters and they said they make a version for the 1984-1989 190D models. The key point: Will this fit my lump of metal? (They claim all is well). Has anybody done this already? Thanks in advance for responses, Simon. ------------------------------ End of diesel-benz-digest V1 #182 *********************************
