Here it is, http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=192987278 It sold for 811 dollars, which would be OK for a vehicle to play with. I might pay that just for the engine. In our driveway we have 640k combined mercedes diesel miles on 2 cars. Strangely, they are the youngest of our cars, the others are way older and way more used. To my knowledge you can't replace the rubber portion without replacing the whole mount, and there didn't seem to be any sneaky ways to get to the mount without having upward lift on the engine at the same time (i.e. a hoist). You may have to loosen the shock mounts, but I would not bother replacing the shocks. I replaced my rear mount, but it did not need it. It was caked with oil and dirt, but was still sound. Loosen the bolt on the underside of each mount (both sides), and lift the engine with a floor jack (with a piece of wood in between the jack and oil pan). Remove the two top bolts from the mounts and slide the mounts out. Replacement is the reverse. The metal mount covers are re-usable, you have to wiggle them into place if you don't unbolt the engine shocks. It is worthwhile to spray penetrating oil on the mount bolts a day before the replacement. Buy new bolts for the mounts. Replace both sides. Tool tip: You will be using allen wrenches. If you have allen wrench sockets for your ratchet handle, you are ahead of the game. If not, you can increase the leverage on your allen wrench by sliding a socket/extention combination over the "grip" end of the allen wrench. YMMV. There used to be many cabs based on the W123 200D (with amazing 60 hp's) and the 240 D in Germany. These cars did not get highway miles, they all were mainly used in town. But this was not so much of a problem since the cars were driven 24 hours a day. In the winter times, the engines were even running when the cabbie was waiting for passengers. Whenever I need a cab, I ask the driver how often the odometer (I mean the "mile counting device") had turned around. Often I got answers of 2 to 5 times with the first engine. This means 2,000,000 to 5,000,000 km, equivalent to up to 3,125,000 miles. Isn't that amazing?! Blow into it. You'll find that there is very little air flow. BINGO! Having had the same problem, and chewed up my right rear rotor, I found out this is a problem with the older systems...and not necessarily just MB's. The rubber hoses used for the flexible portions of the brake lines are only good for around 10 years. They tend to swell internally. In other words, you can engage the caliper, but the reverse tends to not happen. The part is around $10. Aside from the pain in the backside of having to bleed the system after replacing it, it's a pretty easy job. I've had my right rear done, and may have to do the other 3 corners myself 'cuz my mechanic doesn't think I ought to swap them out until they fail... My right rear rotor looks like a map of the grand canyon.... For a change, Fritz is acting like a typical older MB.
