I am looking for an aftermarket manufacturer or a good parts yard that might have a J10 bed? Any info you could give would be helpful. Olympic 4x4 here in Snohomish might have some parts for you. You could always make a flatbed. :) Emissions aren't a big deal... nothing a little bit of engine/carb work can't solve. :) I sold my 81 300D. It was a nice ride, but I like my J10 better. :) I may pick up another benz before too long... I've got a sort of slide show setup for Diesels, XJs, FSJs, misc, my church and something else... was fiddling with it last night around midnight. :) I'm heading down to Seattle to get some parts for an article on wiring/headlights. Anyone got an easy way to measure light intensity? I'm going to try and quantify actual light output using a standard method that is repeatable... Going to try and use my camera's light meter... I sold my old hand held light meter years ago... needed it for my 2-1/4 system... overkill for 35mm. Miss that old system... man the quality of the negatives was amazing!
